Painted
This photo is a picture of a wooden painted pig. I got this pig with my Mother at a farmer's market. My sister had lots of travel softball tournaments when I was smaller, and I got bored often. So, my Mom and I used to drive around the different towns and find different restaurants/stores (in between games). This pig was a product of one of those spontaneous trips during my sister's tournament.

This is a picture of a stone shark statue. This statue was bought in Florida. We were in Florida because of my Cousin's wedding, where I was the flower girl. For me, the statue is a memory of that trip. I like keeping around certain objects that represent certain moments/periods of time. This object represents a fun week in Florida.

When I was first allowed to reorganize my room the way I wanted, I also learned around the same time what a succulent was. I made my Mom go out with me and buy me one. Since then, I've had a pretty steady rotation of plants. Mostly they are succulents or cacti. This is one of the succulents I currently have.

I was a very picky eater as a kid. Until I was around 10, the only fruits and vegetables I liked were carrots, apples, watermelon and canteloupe. Around this age, we discovered I was anemic, and my Mom began feeding me all types of different foods. One of the foods she made me try which I actually liked was a bell pepper.
